Skeleton Huntress

When Ahdri tamed Loque'nahak, I knew I had to make a lighter/white transmog for her. I had already started to work on this transmog for a Skeleton Huntress theme, so it is not completely matching the great spirit beast, but close enough for now. Ahdri is also acompanied by her Cogblade Raptor, White Polar Bear and Albino Drake!

Ahdri is wearing:
Head - Horned Viking Helmet, BoP drop from Eric "The Swift" in Uldaman
Shoulders- Dragon-Quake Shoulderguards, BoP drop from The Curator in Karazhan
Chest - Polished Jazeraint Armor, BoE world drop
Bracers - Impenetrable Bindings, BoE world drop
Hands - Wasteland Chain Gauntles, bought from Pandaria vendors Len at Arms or Supplier Xin
Waist - Champion's Girdle, BoE world drop
Legs - Impenetrable Legguards, BoE world drop
Feet - Sentry's Slippers, BoE world drop
Bow - Charmed Ancient Bone Bow, Binds to Account, bought from vendors

Alternative pieces:
Shoulders - Scorpid-Sting Mantle and Sundered Spaulders
Chest - Champion's Armor
Hands - Impenetrable Gauntles
Waist - Bonelink Belt
Bow - Steelhawk Crossbow

Strange World; The Demon Barber of Stormwind?

Did you ever watch the brilliant Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Bareber of Fleet Street? Did you know that you can find him in Stormwind too? Just visit the Stormvind barbershop, everything seems pretty normal at first sight, but if you sneak around a little, you'll maybe discover the barbers secret...

Stormvind barbershop, it's a shame Genevieve doesn't sell pies...

 The barber Jelinek Sharpshear

Amazing details, as always, who doesn't get inspired by a woman's haircut on a male goblins head?

I love the goblin haircut poster on the wall! Oooh, I wonder where those stairs lead?

 Still looks pretty normal

And there it is, the barbers secret, makes me just a little bit uncomfortable...

There have been made some changes to the barber of Stormwind over the years, before the Cataclysm, he was actually a goblin, not a gnome as he is now, and his name was Sween Neetod, in the WotLK beta, but it was changed to Jelinek Sharpshear, unknown why.

Luckydo!

"You smell of good fortune" as any Grummle would tell me. I know it's over a six month period or so, but I have had a few lucky catches, and since I haven't updated my blog that much lately, I'll tell you all about it now:

My hunter finally tamed Loque'nahak! He is not my first spirit beast, as I already have Skoll in my stable, but this beauty is an iconic and rare hunter pet, I think almost every hunter would like in their collection. I am so happy and excited I finally got him!

I tamed him near the Skyreach Pillar, one of his seven spawn points in Sholazar Basin

After traveling Northrend back and forth and waiting at different spawn points, I finally met and captured an Unborn Val'kyr! She is so pretty!

Just four days ago, I captured a battle pet I didn't even know if I'd ever get a hold of, the infamous Minfernal! This pet is known as one of the rarest in the game and the area they spawn in Felwood is extremly crowded and camped, so it all comes down to being in the right place at the right time, really. As I searched over the small area they spawn, I actually saw another player in a pet battle with one, I got so excited, and flew over the area again, but couldn't see any more Minfernals, only other players camping them out, so I thought the one I saw in battle might have been the last one to spawn. Then, suddenly, right in front of me another Minfernal spawned! Luckydo! I was so wired up about the whole thing that I almost forgot to make screenshots.

Yes!!!

Sometimes I can be other players Luckydo aswel, I sure made one Night Elf very happy at Sethria's Roost in Mount Hyjal. The loving husband Mankrik spawned as one of my protectors for the quest The Protectors of Hyjal, and the Night Elf got her achievement Have... Have we met? She was very grateful :D Now I only have to hope for Thassarian to show up one day, as he is the only one I am missing for the same achievement.

And it continued ;)

HOW CRAZY IS THIS???! While I am finishing off this post, my SilverDragon goes off, as I have WoW on in the background and Skaadd placed at Sethria's Roost. AND THERE IS THASSARIAN! I finally got my achievement too! After endless days of visiting this place just to get the chance to wave at this old Death Knight! (Sorry for the CAPS, hehe)

A colorful Death Knight

This is the colorful plate set my Death Knight Luneah is wearing in the characters page:

Shoulders - Skybreaker's Pauldrons, quest reward (Enraged Spirits of Air)
Chest - Warleader's Breastplate, BoE drop in Ahn'Qiraj
Hands - Gloves of the Swarm, BoP drop from Buru the Gorger in Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj
Waist - Ango'rosh Belt, BoE world drop (Outland)
Legs - Symbolic Legplates, BoE world drop
Feet - Revenant Boots, BoE world drop
Back - Sunshower Light Cloak, BoP drop from Kael'thas Sunstrider in The Eye
Sword - Gladiator Greatblade, BoE world drop
Shield - Secretion-Coated Carpace, quest reward (Stinglasher)

I had to add a screenshot from MogIt aswel, as I think the colors are even more
vivid and beautiful here

Dusky Shadow Priest

A shadow priest often deals in shady businesses, and that is why I think this dusky transmog set is a good fit for my priest Rahda. The whole thing started with me trying to make a transmog out of the different items she actually had in her bank, which I have been collecting for her over time. And of course the whole thing ended with me doing some long, low level quest chains and spending some honor points to get it all done. Rahda is acompanied by her lovely shady Dark Phoenix Hatchling, and of course she is in one of my all time favorite zones - Duskwood!

Rahda is wearing:
Head - Mammoth-Hair Crown, BoE drop from the rare Icehorn in Borean Tundra
Shoulders - Vengeful Gladiator's Mooncloth Mantle, BoP, sold by Kezzik the Striker for 750 honor points (PRIEST only)
Chest - Demonweave Raiment, BoE drop from the rare Mekthorg the Wild in Hellfire Peninsula
Wrist - Bracers of Safe Keeping, BoP, reward from the quest The Doomstone
Hands - Gloves of the High Magus, BoP, reward from the quest News of Victory
Waist - Ghamoo-Ra's Bind, BoP drop from Ghamoo-Ra in Blackfathom Deeps
Legs - Speedbarge Leggings, BoP, reward from the quest Circle the Wagons... er, Boats
Feet - Sinister Area 52 Boots, BoP, reward from the quest Breaking down Netherrock
Back - Dusk-Stained Cloak, BoP, reward from the quest Knowledge in the Deeps

New server, new names

When I started playing, the people I knew that was playing, was on a pvp-server, so naturally I joined them there, and I built my little alt army there as well. But I'm no pvp'er! I can stand the occational world pvp, but the ganking and beeing followed around not beeing able to quest or nothing, I just hate it so much. So I decided to relocate to a pve-server, and over some time I have finally managed to get all my hordies on one pve-server, and soon all mye allies will be on one pve-server too. It is so undescribable relaxing to be on a pve-server, I love it! The sad thing is I couldn't keep the names on all my characters (this is also the reason I waited so long to do this), so there's been some changes:

Skadd is now Skaadd the Shaman, which in my head is pronounced the same. Skaadd was the hardest for me to rename, as she is my first character and have almost no changes done to her over the years... Double A in norwegian is the same as our letter Å, so norwegians could easy read her name as Skådd, in my dialect skådde means mist or fog, so I can live with that. I think.

Ahgony is now Pixxii the Warlock, a name change I wanted anyways as I think Ahgony is a bit dramatic. The only reason she was named Ahgony in the first place was to match my sisters warlock called Pain, Pain and Ahgony isn't that sweet? But Pain has now also been moved and isn't even horde anymore (shame on you sister!)

Audhumbla is now Audumbla the Druid, and that is no big deal since both names are used on the norse cow.

Bestla is now Rind the Death Knight, I switched from one great norse name to another great norse name, but I still think Bestla is best fit for a Death Knight.

Ahdri, Rahda (originally wanted Rada), Nhell (originally wanted Nell), Wednsday and the rest got to keep their names.

The name changes didn't go all smoothly, luckily the GM's fixed it for me!

Strange World; LOL

This is a proof that Blizzard have to be one of the coolest/funniest places to work. Just imagine how fun it must be to do such things, just because you are able to ;) I'm talking about the LOL-shaped mountain side in Arathi Highlands, near Hammerfall! Leaving these small, funny easter eggs all over, is something Blizzard is very good at!

Arathi Highlands is a zone containing plenty of fun stuff, so we will be re-visiting soon! ;D

This is roughly the place and direction you need to stand in to see the LOL

Happy New Year!

Yeah, yeah, I know I'm a little late… again…
Anyway, these four ladies wanted to say Happy New Year from the New Years Party they
had at the Legerdemain Lounge in Dalaran, after they had all been shopping for dresses in Moonglade ;)

All of their dresses can be bought of Geenia Sunshadow in Moonglade (and some of them from other vendors), and Bestla's Formal Dangui, is questioned to be one of the rarest dresses in the game.

Wait for it, wait for it, she might make a dress for you too!
and a Red Wine Glass bought in Dalaran

holding Umbrella of Chi-Ji made with Archaeology

Wednsday is wearing a White Traditional Hanbok and Dress Shoes
holding some Simple Wildflowers, bought from various vendors

Bestla with the very rare, but still only common dress Formal Dangui
and Red Woolen Boots, also holding a Wine Glass

I want to wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
And I hope that 2014 will be a very good and wowlicious year! ;D
